Cut-To-Length Systems

Modular components form a completely automated cut-to-length system.

        Pivot arm.
An air feed cut-to-length machine combining a model RSC14 pivoting arm cutter for small round stock (up to .170” dia.) and a model A2 air feed with a 2.0” stroke range. Operator’s keypad input terminal is mounted on the side of the cabinet base.

This servo feed cut-to-length system utilizes a pivoting arm cutter for flat materials up to 1-1/4” wide and a model 102C servo feed with a 2” stock width capacity. A console keypad controls all operating program functions.

Flat stock.

A 4” reciprocating blade flat stock cutter fed by a model D3 air feed that provides a 4” material width capacity and 0-3” stroke range are shown in this cut-to-length machine. The integrated electronic controls inside the cabinet base completely automate feeding and shearing
in this self-contained system.

Here a 4” cutter for flat stock receives material from a companion 104C servo feed. An operator enters cut-to-length job setup and running data using a console keypad that controls all program functions. This combination forms a neat, convenient and fully integrated cut-to-length package.

With machine base.

The cut-to-length system pictured here employs an 18” cutter and a model P12 air feed which accepts 16” wide material and has a 12” feed stroke. Any of the cut-to-length machine models utilizing air feeds can include modified stock and feed clamps for unusual material shapes or anti-buckling guides or tubes forvery thin material.

Combining a servo feed with one of our reciprocating blade cutters offers the advantages of high-speed, precision material movement and quick job changeover which is particularly useful for long feed lengths. This example shows a model 224S servo feed and a 24” cutter mounted on a machine table base.
