| Rapid-Lift Coil Lifts provide a simple and safe way to lift and load coils on to the arms of stock reels. Several of these lifts in a press department can reduce the delay caused when calling for a lift truck. With the Rapid-Air coil lift, any operator can lift coils without physical strain. Operation is simple. With the lift arm in the lowered position and the coils in a vertical position, the unit can be rolled forward to engage the inside diameter of one or more coils. A single control will start the DC electric hydraulic drive to lift the load. The entire coil lift can then be positioned up to a reel and coils can be loaded on to the reel one at a time. The coil lift can then be rolled out of the way, ready for the next coil requirement. The outrigger legs can be adjusted to straddle most reel bases. The lift consists of a coil lift arm lifted by a hydraulic cylinder powered by a built-in battery-driven DC hydraulic pump. The coil lift is capable of many lifts and a convenient battery recharger is built into each unit. Rapid-Air quality and design is evident throughout the entire assembly. |
